"American Idol" sensation Fantasia Barrino is thrilled with the recent birth of her baby Dallas Xavier, but friends say she's now facing a painful dilemma.

The 27-year-old singer needs to work to support her children but hates the prospect of being separated from her precious new son.

Fantasia, who's also mom to a 10-year-old daughter, delivered her son on Dec. 13, two weeks ahead of her due date.

The dad is her boyfriend Antwaun Cook, who is stilled married to his estranged wife Paula, say insiders.

"Fantasia has a lot of people to support," explained a source close to the Season 3 winner of the popular FOX program.

"A few years ago, she dug herself into a deep financial hole that took her a long time to get out of. She's still financing an expensive lifestyle and touring constantly to pay for it.

"She needs to work - but her baby needs her too!"

Meantime, Fantasia and Antwaun are not living together, say sources.

"What Fantasia really hopes is that he will step up now, marry her and help with the care of their family," a friend noted.

"She's tired of carrying the whole load by herself!"

In previous interviews, director Lee Daniels said that he went on a search for months trying to find the perfect actress to play the lead character in ‘Precious’, finally settling on actress Gabourey Sidibe because she was the perfect fit for the film. The 24-year-old receptionist from Harlem had very little acting experience, but since being featured opposite Mo’Nique and Mariah Carey, Gabourey has catapulted into stardom.

Thing is, in her forthcoming book ‘I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down,’ Jennifer Hudson says that the starring role in ‘Precious’ was first offered to her, but she wasn’t about to gain weight for another role.

“I had done that with Effie… and as much as I was moved by this film. I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight.”

It’s understandable that J Hud passed up the role as she could have very well been typecast for the rest of her career.

Not too long after she turned down the role, Jennifer appeared in the ‘Sex and the City’ movie and dropped over 80 pounds. Meanwhile, Gabby picked up more acting roles with her most recent release being Tower Heist with Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, and Casey Affleck. She’s currently filming ‘Seven Psychopaths’ with Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson and Christopher Walken.

Breaking records on the Billboard charts, proved that Nicki Minaj is a talented femcee and is considered the most prominent female rapper in the last 3 years. This Queens native sure does know how to get attention in the fashion world with her over-the-top outfits. According to StyleCaster, Minaj is working on a fashion line. “Given today’s celebrity machine encourages cashing in on any branding opportunities (I’m looking at you, Kardashians), it comes as no surprise that insiders are saying Minaj has her eyes on developing a clothing and beauty line too. ”With her team, we’re all working and in discussions on a fragrance deal,“ says Mark Cheatham, a music agent at Creative Artists Agency. ‘We’re also in discussions with different apparel companies as well. We’re expecting that will make her a mainstream brand.’”

Nowadays rappers launching clothing lines is somewhat a big deal. Jay-Z, Diddy, T.I., Young Jeezy and Meek Mill have their own clothing lines. I support Minaj in launching a fashion line. Would you wear clothes from Minaj’s line?
